I voted today, and what a sham. I almost felt like voting for president and then just blowing the rest of the measures off.

You read them and they are like “Yes to this measure will all teachers to be paid based off merit instead of on tenure.” Ok, so that sounds good. Then looking into it more and the merit refers to some standardized test or rediculous way of measuring. So WTF? Does that mean that answering no means that teachers go back to being paid on how long they have been teaching? I don’t like either. Can the school board really not figure out how to pay good teachers?

Uggh, this is why I hate politics.
