I love it when famous musicians do stuff like this. Play in dive bars, with random school bands, etc. Not sure that people appreciate it less when they don’t pay $100 for a ticket or sit in a theater.
I can’t help but think that playing a $3.5Mil violin in the subway may not be the smartest thing ever. :)
